Constructing the information network of the institue, KIOM is leading the digitalization of old literature on Korean oriental medicine. The major topic of this service is to digitalize literature by constructing the information network. To prepare for the knowledge information era, KIOM devises the mid and long term strategies for the informatization of oriental medicine, and develops the standardization of Korean oriental medicine. The institute also prepares for an efficient and systematic information base, excavates essential knowledge resources of Korean oriental medicine, and acquires the efficacy of informatization by constructing the comprehensive management system. |
